ROMAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF BULL
Ca. AD 100 - 200A Roman bronze statuette of a bull. Portrayed with a thick neck and notched hooves. The animal stands facing forward. Its long tail loops over its back with the end resting on the body's left side. Two small horns emerge on top of the bovine's head, above its alert ears. The anatomical features have been rendered naturalistically through delicate incisions outlining the small, almond-shaped eyes, flaring nostrils, and curling mane.
