Ca. 30 BC - AD 200.A Romano-Egyptian white faience amphoriskos. The elongated pear-shaped body rises upwards from the flat foot, its upper body is connected directly to the narrow and everted rim. Resting atop the shoulder and beneath the rim is a usual pair of short hoop handles. The lower part of the vase is unglazed.Size: 160mm x 75mm; Weight: 275gProvenance: Property of a West London gentleman; previously in a collection formed on the UK/International art market in the 1980s.
