Ca. AD 1200. A moulded tile with deep and high relief Naskh calligraphy, accompanied by arabesque stems. The entire design is framed within an upper and lower band, all covered with a fine turquoise glaze, displaying traces of iridescence.Size: 265mm x 265mm; Weight: 1.95kgProvenance: Property of a London Islamic art specialist collector; previously in a collection formed since the 1980s.
