EGYPTIAN FAIENCE NECKLACE WITH BES AMULET
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A restrung necklace composed of cylindrical beads predominantly in teal-blue or turquoise hues, interspersed with smaller brown, tan, and ochre-coloured beads. At the centre is a small light blue faience amulet of Bes, the dwarf deity associated with protection, music, and fertility.
