The auction showcases an excellent array of excellent marbles, jewellery, seals and antiquities from the Egyptian, Roman, Greek, Viking, Medieval and Western Asiatic cultures. The sale will be held live at our Central London showroom, 63 - 64 Margaret Street, W1W 8SW, and online via the Apollo Art Auctions platform at 1 p.m. GMT. All lots will be available for preview at our central London showroom by appointment only from the 24th ? 28th March 2025, between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Our white-gloved team professionally handles all items preparing them for in-house shipping.

EGYPTIAN TERRACOTTA BUST OF PHARAOH
Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC. A terracotta plaque depicting a pharaoh wearing a headdress with curved horns extending outward and a central solar disc resting between them. Behind this, a double feather crown rises vertically. The head is sculpted with fine facial features, including almond-shaped eyes, a straight nose, and full lips. Mounted on a custom-made display stand. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition. Size: 130mm x 70mm; Weight: 150g Provenance: Private UK collection, acquired on the US art market; Ex. Donald Wonder collection (1938-2023), California & New Jersey; Ex. The Time Machine, Flushing, New York, prior to 1 October 1987.
