PAIR OF MESOPOTAMIAN STONE SEALS
Ca. 800 - 600 BC. A pair of carved stone seals. The one on the left is of cream-coloured stone in a conical form with a flat base and rounded top, incised on the sealing face with linear motifs. The second, in reddish-brown stone, is shaped as a stylised duck with a prominent beak. The base bears a linear design arranged around a central axis.
