APULIAN RED-FIGURE BELL KRATER WITH WINGED NIKE AND LADY OF FASHION BY THE FOLLOWERS OF THE LECCE PA
Ca. 350 - 325 BC. A red-figure bell krater with a wide flaring rim, twin upturned handles, and a deep body set on a high foot. Side A shows a seated winged Nike, her hair arranged in an elaborate style, dressed in a long chiton with marked folds, and holding a beaded wreath in her raised hand. In front of her stands a woman clad in a voluminous himation. Side B presents a pair of women in procession, walking left, both wrapped in long himatia.
