Sarcophagus fragment
Fragment of a sarcophagus in Parian marble carved in bas-relief depicting two winged putti.
On the left side you can see part of a funeral inscription.
Work of Roman provenance and dating back to the 2nd-3rd century AD, accompanied by documentation in accordance with the law, as it is an archaeological asset not subject to restrictions and already known to the Superintendency of Cultural Heritage.
Good conservation conditions in relation to the very ancient era.
