Certification by Prof. Francesco Gallo, professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome
Author exhibited at the Louvre in Paris, belonging to the circle of Antoine Caron, he collaborated with him in the creation of a cycle of tapestries then donated to Caterina dei Medici. The work at auction is a fitting example, in tone and manner, of the Fontainebleau school. Most likely it must also have been made in a larger format.
