A James Gale Tyler (American, 1855-1931) oil on board painting depicting a seascape with waves breaking on a beach in the foreground and sailboats out to sea scattered in the background. Signed lower right. Presented in a carved gilt wood frame. Sight: 8.5" x 11.5"
Condition: Overall very good condition having only minor wear to the upper right. Signs of overpainting upper left and upper center can be seen under black light.
