ABADEH: An extremely attractive hard-wearing rug made in the village of Ābādeh, in south-west Iran. The designs are influenced by nomadic rugs and usually consist of a hexagon in the centre containing a rosette or medallion. A good buy as this rug will retain its value for a very long time.
