Audubon & Bendire Books of Birds
Lot includes two "Life Histories of North American Birds by Bendire, published by Washington: Government Printing Office. Books are Special Bulletin (1892) and Special Bulletin No. 1 (1895). Loss on spine and edges. Wear consistent with age. See photos. Lot also includes "The Original Water-color Paintings by John James Audubon for Birds of America" reproduced in color for the first time fron the collector at the New York Historical Society. Two book set in box (1966). Good condition.
