Portrait of a nobleman Mughal India, possibly Deccan, late 18th-early 19th century Meas: 3.7 X h. 10 cm (tot. 15 X h. 24.5 cm) - Fine portrait of a nobleman in old age set against a monochrome neutral background. The painting is set in three frames: a thin one in Islamic style with interlaced gilded vines and two thicker ones with marbled paper. Two Persian stamps on the reverse.
