סמחון חלואה - 1900-1834. נולד במקנס שבמרוקו. בהמשך עבר לעיר אוראן באלג'יריה. שם זיכה את הרבים בדרשותיו. נודע בחסידותו, בנוסף היה פוסק הלכה ומשיב. חיבר שני ספרי מוסר, שנדפסו לאחר מותו : "צו לצו", נדפס ב - תרס"ד, בירושלים וספרו "חכמה ודעת", נדפס בשנת תשס"ג, בירושלים.
