Safed- 6.5.1948, commercial cover from first day of siege, addressed to Hadassah Jerusalem (sent by the Hadassah branch in Safed with their bilingual cachet on back), probably went with military convoy to TLV, from TLV to Jerusalem by military airplane according to ROSETTE Minhelet Ha'am arrival postmark on back, genuine in every respect, with scattered stains & black ink mark top left. Very Rare Example of Mail between Two Besieged Cities, showpiece, signed & certified by Tsachor. VF & extremely rare!!
