Return of the mozzatore after the harvest in Rome, 1815
Watercolored etching on paper, 22 x 30 cm
Signed and dated lower: Pinelli, 1815. Story n ° 4 of the "Collection of fifty picturesque costumes engraved in strong water" made for the first time in 1809.
It represents the feast that was held at the Temple of Vesta (Hercules) in Rome, with saltarello and wine, to celebrate the end of the harvest.
Good conditions. Some flaws of humidity. Frame, glass.
