The painting - in the horizontal format and framed by a silk band - depicts six characters seated in a glimpse of a landscape, two of whom are playing weiqi, two playing cards and two enjoying the atmosphere.

Provenance: Italian private collection. The painting is the work of an artist active in Guangzhou, made in a style that combines echoes of the tradition with more modern ways.
