THREE POLYCHROME ENAMELED PORCELAIN DISHES
China, Qing dynasty, Yongzheng period
To the center a familiar scene with a man struggling with manual work, near a woman and a child, the rim with a geometric ground on which four reserves with flowers and insects alternating with corollas, the back of two dishes covered with an old paper with a stamp to the center and the pen inscription “Alberic Goethals/ 1843-1897”.

Alberic Goethals (1843-1897) was a photographer and owner of a textile factory in Belgium.
