Carved bone composition of a saint with cherubs - Trapani workshops, 18th century Sicily depicting a saint kneeling in front of a churchyard with books and a cross; in the upper part a reliquary flanked by two cherubs. The composition could depict the Jesuit saint Francis Xavier in the act of adoring the cross, symbol of the conversion mission. Within gilded wooden frame.
