Two Rare 1900 Watercolour Paintings by Sir Joseph Lyons! English entrepreneur and pioneer of mass catering. Chairman and co founder of Lyons and Co. restaurant chain and hotel conglomerate, created in 1884. Lyons was an accomplished watercolourist and showed his paintings at the Royal Institution where they were usually bought bt Spencer Wells (surgeon to Queen Victoria) and Admiral Eardley Wilmot (commander of the channel fleet). These two landscape paintings have recently been re-framed. 42 x 38cm.
