A Rare Victorian 15K gold (tested) and enamel Oddfellows watch fob- pendant. IOOF - Independent Order of the Fellows- Friendship, Love, Truth. The centre is enamelled in white with various symbols of the order in gold thereon. On the reverse is the name J.Annear engraved in script lettering. Extra notes: Possibly mourning connection with this one as well hence the skull n bones .The fob features as a diamond shape flanked at the shoulders with two scroll cases enclosing a static lug for securing with a jump ring so as to be worn, the face side to the fob features a three dimensional relief image of an Ascension tent detailed with the Skull and Cross Bones, the Hand of Charity, a duet of Shepherds crooks and the All Seeing eye to the top of the tent canopy. 19mm x 19mm. 6.8g.
