However, the group merged with Sigma kappa in 1959. Composed of 14k white gold, this badge features a shield showcasing the Pi kappa Sigma Greek letters, a lamp of knowledge, and a single cut natural diamond accent displayed against a black enameled field. The shield is framed by a border of genuine seed pearls. The back of the pin is engraved "A.C. 3-11-56". This piece is also equipped with an Omicron guard pin, which is adorned with genuine seed pearls, and attaches to the badge by a fine cable chain.
