A large Chinese rare drum-shaped 'Dragon amongst Flower Branches' fish bowl, sturdily potted in shape reminiscing a drum, the top with a reverse decorated band of bats and cloud scrolls on a deep blue ground, at the foot a band with stylised stiff leaves, in between the two bands: a continuous motif of dragons in pairs amongst flower branches and tendrils, a typical Dayazhai-style motif of the Guangxu period, H 45 - dia 48,5 cm
