Alan Shepard - 'Moon Shot, The Inside Story Of America's Race to the Moon' by Alan Shepard and Deke Slayton, US first edition hardback 1994, signed to an inside page 'Al Shepard', excellent condition. Slayton was originally going to co-author this book with Neil Armstrong. Armstrong subsequently dropped out and Slayton, diagnosed with cancer, asked Shepard to help him finish the book which he did for his old Mercury colleague despite having previously saying he wouldn't write a book. Slayton died in 1993, before the book was published. Good Condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity. We combine postage on multiple winning lots and can ship worldwide.
