Sc28a RAF Escaping Society Signed by WW11 5 Pilots, Crew and Resistance member. 25th Anniversary of the Escaping Society Personally Signed by B Morgan on 3rd/4th May 1944 was shot down about midnight. in Lancaster LM531 AR-R evaded capture helped by the resistance, Group Captain W. S. O. Randle CBE AFC DFM FRAeS. Bill Randle served with Bomber Command throughout the war. He was shot down over Belgium, made his way through France across the Pyrenees into Spain and reached Gibraltar. Served happily in the Royal Air Force until 1972. Flew Helicopter operations in Korea, Malaysia, Borneo and Northern Ireland. Flew 44 aircraft types. T Hannan member of the executive committee of the RAF Escaping Society. Jean Jaques Piot Resistance Member WW11. Fg Off P W Walker who was shot down over France, was helped by the Maquis to reach Switzerland, then helped again by the Maquis to leave Switzerland and reach the American Forces in France.
