Personally Signed by Dudley P Heal DFM on Dam Buster Raid with 617 Sqn. 17 May 1943.Sgt D P Heal was navigator in Flight Sergeant Ken Brown's Lancaster ED 918 - AJ F ( Freddy) which bombed the Sore Dam. Returned safely. Dudley Heal went to serve with 29 OUT in 1944 and then with 214 Squadron until he was shot down on 14th March 1945. This resulted in the whole crew becoming POWs for six weeks when the war ended. He was released from the RAF in 1946. Certified Copy No 88 of 111. Good condition.
