Original poem that comes with the artwork -Just a little focus And the thing shines It appears to exist apart from all else Suddenly it has a past history It has causes and interactions It has reasons and futures A density A beauty An aliveness The thing is alive when I focus on it My focus is its aliveness And yet the focus cannot be mine Because it surprises me Suddenly it appears The focus is eternal As is its endless creation of aliveness ARTIST BIO Deepa is a self-taught abstract impressionist artist, poet and philanthropist. Her practice is the embodiment of a lifetime of exploration, fascination and expression of the divine paradox of life being empty as well as full, being timeless and yet eternal. Deepa?s art technique is unique using only a palette knife and an intense play of colours and depth. She has won several art awards worldwide and has exhibited her works in over 60 solo and group exhibitions globally in galleries, art fairs and art Biennales. She donates 100% proceeds from her practice to charity. Singapore
