full black lacquer coating with gold decoration and mother-of-pearl inlay, "Flowers and various plant motifs with birds", bands with geometric motifs "Checkers, circles (tangent and secant), zigzags and alternating triangles", friezes with «tendrils», central drawer occupying the height of two drawers with moulded "Classicist portico", scalloped, engraved and gilt copper mounts
nippo-portuguese - Momoyama period (1573-1615)
restoration, top cover decoration redone, minor faults and defects, non-original key entry protective escutcheons, a corner and one of the handle escutcheons non-original, faults and wear to the gilt of the mounts
