Stow Wengenroth (1906 - 1978) Lithograph signed lower right, "Brooks and Willows, " Ea/75, measures 10.5 x 16.5 inches. Born in Brooklyn, New York, Stow Wengenroth studied at the Art Students League and Grand Central Art School. He lived and worked for many years on Long Island and then moved to Rockport, Massachusetts. He is renowned for his carefully wrought scenes of the New England seacoast-- craggy rocks, lighthouses, boats and the sea.
