The panel presented here, while showing a drier style and greater staticity compared to the previously mentioned canvases, is a faithful copy of it, testifying the fame that Lorenzo Lotto's invention must have enjoyed. The panel has a long slit in the central part, drops of color and rises in the pictorial surface. Provenance: Christie's, 15 December 1897
