Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Vintage Kittens and Mittens Crib Quilt c1930s, measuring 45x55 inches. 12 blocks in the center with appliqued mittens in pink, blue, and yellow, with hand appliqued and embroidered kitten faces. Kitten faces are also along the borders in groups of 3. And kitten faces are quilted into the quilt! In fair condition, there is edge wear and fabric deterioration. This quilt was part of Laura Fisher's estate. Laura Fisher was a New York based world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author, and in offering these textiles for sale we hope to honor her legacy of style and scholarship. . She had put a small piece of painter's tape on the back of the quilt with some information. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $15 is a domestic shipping estimate. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
