Join us for an amazing auction dedicated to vintage and antique quilts and related textiles. This will be the first of our auctions to include textiles from the Estate of Laura Fisher. New York based Laura Fisher, was a world renowned quilt expert, dealer and author. Her antique quilts were exhibited all over the globe, she made appearances with Martha Stewart, and was published in several magazines over the years. In offering these textiles for sale we hope to continue to honor her legacy of style and scholarship.

Antique Half Square Triangles Quilt
Antique c1900s quilt measuring 78 x 94. Quilt consists of 42 9 x 9.5 blocks each with 36 half square triangles. Blocks are set straight, 6 by 7 with 3.5 inch blue shirting sashing. Quilt is hand pieced and hand quilted. Backing is a strippy or bars back commonly seen in Pennsylvania during this time period. This quilt is a wonderful fabric library with prints from the 1870s - 1900s. Quilt is in good condition. Several seams need to be reinforced. There are several spots and some fabric deterioration. Please see the photos for details. We do our best to describe all items in detail and provide pictures. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate.
