Antique c1910 Crazy Quilt - Signed
Antique 1910 Crazy Quilt Measuring 70"x 79" Comprised of 16 complete blocks 16"x 16" set straight 4x4 with an additional 4 blocks 11"x16" along one side and 5 additional partial blocks 5" wide on an adjoining side. It is hand pieced on a foundation fabric, hand appliqued and hand embroidered. It is not quilted, but tied in a pink embroidery floss. Each block is either signed or initialed. There is a medium loft cotton batting and a woven stripe cotton backing. The edge is finished with the back brought to the front and applied by hand. It is in good condition with a few silk fabrics starting to deteriorate, most of the fabrics are velvet, wool, and cotton. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! In house Flat Rate Shipping of $25 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
