Antique 1839 Figural Coverlet-NY
Antique 1839 figural coverlet from Bethany, Genesee County NY made for M.Campbell. The coverlet is in 2 halves, the center seam ha come undone. Each side measures 39x88''. The roses and stars are very similar to coverlet no. 7 in American Weavers and Their Coverlets, that is another unidentified weaver. This coverlet has little birds added to the rose motifs. In fair condition with large spots and some loss to the weaving an is missing its fringe. If you have any doubt, please ask questions! We will provide extra pictures, or can schedule an in person or video conference preview at your convenience. In house Flat Rate Shipping of $30 is a domestic shipping estimate for first quilt and includes insurance. We will gladly combine multiple lots for your convenience and economy.
