Vintage c1970 Quilt with Dimensional Flowers
Vintage c1970 quilt measures 79x95''. I believe the maker purchased a pre quilted bed spread which she then appliqued pink strips of fabric to create a block effect. Within each block she appliqued a green 8 pointed motif and appliqued leaves on four sides and pink dimensional flowers on the other four sides and in the center. The same flowers and leaves are on a green undulating vine along 3 sides. It is finished with a pink bias tape edge. It is in poor condition with overall toning, spots, fading, and unravelling of the commercial quilting stiches. If you have any doubt, please ask questions!
