"I was waiting to send it with this stamp" - Postcard sent during World War II from Lodz to Switzerland
Postcard sent on February 10, 1943, from Lodz to Switzerland. From Johann Schuman to Fritz Cosman of Rheinfelden - Switzerland to his hotel there.
The sender apologizes for being delayed in sending the letter because he struggled to send it with the German Reich stamp in Vienna - as can be seen on the postcard, the German Reich in Vienna stamp, issued in 1942, and show a horseman riding a horse cheering the triumph of victory in the rising sun. He adds and tells about a man name Julius who is at the front of Lake Ilma near St. Petersburg, complaining that it is difficult to hear a radio every day for 3 hours, and more.
[1] Postcard. written on both sides. Very good condition.
