The publisher, the brother of Rabbi Yaakov Polak, writes in his introduction the reasons why he decided to print the will: The genius requested in his will that all his descendants read it once a month, so he printed the will for them. And another reason that he saw that the important will would also benefit many who are not his descendants and printed for them as well. Today, only a few copies have survived from this print.
