Three early royal decrees from the Swedish Kingdom all concerning restrictions on Jews in the realm. Stockholm, 1809-1828. Swedish.


  • Kongl. Maj:ts och rikets Commerce-Collegii kungórelse : angående hwad iakttagas bór wid Fórpassningars utfårdande fór Judar i afseende på deras resor til Ståderne : gifwen i Stockholm den April 14, 1807, Swedish. A decree concerning permits for Jews to travel between cities in the kingdom, and also permits for Jews wishing to leave the kingdom and emigrate to the United States.   • Kongl. Maj:ts och Rikets Commerce-Collegii kungo̊relse angående låro- och tjenstår fo̊r dem af Judiska nationen ... Stockholm, 1819. Royal decree concerning trade restrictions on Jews in the realm's territory.

  • Kongl. Maj:ts Nådiga Kungörelse, angående förbud emot uplåtandet till Judar af ägande rätt och besittning af fastighet å landet : Gifwen Stockholms Slott den 10 September 1828. A decree from September 10, 1828 prohibiting Jews from engaging in agriculture and mining, and also: "Henceforth Jews will not be permitted to acquire real estate, manufacturing facilities or housing without special permission", and imposing responsibility on judges to adjudicate cases where such sales were made against the regulation.

Extremely rare. In the world cat library catalog there is only one listing in one library of each decree.


Each decree is two leaves. Overall very good condition.
