First edition. Volume referring to the cartographic description of the coasts of Spain and North Africa in the Mediterranean. The author published yet another volume concerning the Atlantic Ocean. The work begins with an introduction by José de Vargas y Ponce, the poet, academic and sailor who participated in the siege of Gibraltar and who at the time was working on a naval dictionary. Rare.
