António José Moreira was captain of the Corps of Engineers and professor of Drawing at the Royal Fortification Academy in Lisbon, according to Inocêncio he died in 1794, this being the only work he published, illustrated with 30 engravings opened with burin illustrating the various rules presented throughout of the work. Rare.
