FIRST Edition of an esteemed 16th century Spanish work. Divided into six parts, the first two deal with theological subjects, the third with "natural" ones such as medicine, cosmography, astronomy, etc., the fourth with everything that affects morals, the fifth entirely dedicated to enigmas and the sixth to proverbs . The work was so successful that three more editions were published soon after, all without the author's authorization. Rare.
