TWO ORIGINAL SOVIET VET MEDAL BARS (8)
Lot of two original Soviet medal bars, each containing four medals, possibly from the same veteran. Two medals commemorate the twentieth and thirtieth anniversaries of victory over Nazi Germany in WWII, four medals commemorate various anniversaries of the Soviet Armed Forces, and one medal commemorates thirty years of the Soviet Fleet (1918-1948). The last medal is inscribed with 'Veteran of the Armed Forces of the USSR.' This award was given to soldiers of the Soviet Army, of the Soviet Navy, of Border Troops and of Internal Troops who impeccably served in the Armed Forces of the USSR for 25 years or more. All these medals possibly belonged to the same veteran. They are arranged in an incorrect order.
