AZORES. Letter sent from Brazil, transiting Rio de Janeiro on 3/24/1852, and destined for TERÇEIRA ISLAND, in the Azores. It was sent via Porto, where it arrived on 4/29/1852, marked BARRA DO PORTO, in green, with the postage of 160 reis applied to the stamp Law, also in green. From Porto it went to Lisbon, where it arrived on 3/5, to continue to the Azores. It was disinfected with a cut on the front. Document with signs of use, and some stains, of notable rarity, with the application of the Law mark on a letter not destined for the Continent.
