Angola, 1902 – D. Carlos I, Diogo Neto type, with surcharge. MF#63, 65 on 10 reis, violet-red, porcelain paper, perforated 12 ¾, type I. Single example on a cover circulated from Benguela to Malvern (26.09.04) with transit through Lisbon (21.09.04), to pay the simple postage for letters sent abroad up to 15g. (Published in the Official Bulletin of Angola No. 10 of 17.03.03). Canceled with a mute 9-bar stamp in violet, used as a resource mark in Benguela due to damage to the dated stamp. Transported from Benguela to Lisbon by the steamer Ambaca. Example without defects or repairs.
