Riccardo Ferri (Crema, 20 August 1963) is an Italian sports manager, football coach and former footballer, defender, club manager of Inter.
Listed among the best defenders of his generation, [1][2] he spent most of his career in the ranks of Inter, with whom he played 418 games winning an Italian championship, an Italian Cup, an Italian Super Cup and two UEFA Cups. After leaving the Nerazzurri club, he played for two years in Sampdoria, concluding his competitive career in 1996.
Between 1986 and 1992 he made 45 appearances and scored 4 goals for the national team, taking part in the 1988 European Championship and the 1990 World Cup, which he finished in third place. Previously, between 1982 and 1986, he had played 22 times for Italy Under-21, reaching the final of the 1986 European Championship.
