An Ottoman Brass and Enamelled Belt Buckle, 19th Century. A finely crafted Ottoman belt buckle formed from gilt brass, intricately worked in openwork and richly decorated with vibrant champlevé enamel. The symmetrical composition features a pair of confronting crescents surrounding a central floral medallion, framed by scalloped edges reminiscent of stylised lotus petals in shades of pink, green, red, and turquoise.
