An Indian Kashmiri Silver Kashkul Beggar’s Bowl with Floral Scrollwork, 20th Century. The elongated boat-shaped form is adorned with finely chased floral and foliate scrolls, arranged in dense all-over relief against a subtly textured ground. The curved ends terminate in raised stylized hooks, traditionally used for suspension. The lower portion is finished with a raised foot rim.
