Small Vintage Burmese Marionette - 32cm tall and 38cm tall.
The two Small Vintage Burmese Marionettes, standing at 32cm and 38cm tall respectively, are exquisite examples of traditional puppetry craftsmanship from Myanmar. Each marionette is adorned with unique features, including distinct accessories that add to their individual charm and character.
The first marionette, measuring 32cm tall, is adorned with intricate silver bangle adorning its wrists, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication to its appearance. These silver bangles may symbolize wealth, status, or cultural significance, reflecting the traditions and customs of Burmese society.
In contrast, the second marionette, slightly taller at 38cm, is embellished with delicate gold bangle encircling its ankle, evoking a sense of opulence and grandeur. Gold holds deep cultural significance in Myanmar, symbolizing prosperity, spirituality, and royalty, making the marionette adorned with gold bangles a truly captivating sight.
Both marionettes have fair wear and tear due to age and usage the smaller 32cm one has a crack along its foot please see images as they form part of the description.
