AN AMERICAN FRATERNAL CEREMONIAL SWORD, 19-20 CC. - 21
An American Masonic Knights Templar ceremonial sword with an etched decorated blade holding lettering "Milford Commandery" and the initials "K. T.". A black wooden hilt is decorated with a helmet-shaped pommel and cross inlaid with a red gem. The cross-gourd is decorated with stars. The original wooden scabbard is covered in black leather with metal fittings and fitted with three carrying rings. Cir. mid-late 19th century.
Dimensions: L: 33 7/8 in., (86 cm.)
Condition: Good, one has a rusty blade.
