Walther Gasch (1886-1962), a German painter, graphic artist and Nazi Party member from Leipzig, studied at the Dresden Academy under Hegenbarth and Richard Müller, whose master student he was. From 1934 deputy director of the academy of arts Leipzig. Old master copy, oil on canvas over hardboard, inscribed on verso ''Rembrandt van Rijn, Badende am Waldweiher (Diana), facsimile copy after the original in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam 1925'', 88 x 70.5 cm.
Walther Gasch (1886-1962), dt. Maler, Grafiker und Fünktionär der NSDAP aus Leipzig, stud. an der Dresdner Akademie u.a. bei Hegenbarth und Richard Müller, dessen Meisterschüler er war.
